How can I register for the Medical Council in Delhi?

The Delhi Medical Council is a statutory body constituted in September 1998, as a result of enactment of Delhi Medical Council Act, 1997 by the Government of NCT of Delhi. Delhi Medical Council is vested with powers, duties and function of regulating the practice of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, including the registration and licencing of doctors graduating or practicing in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Practitioners interested in applying for Internships can apply for Provisional Registration and  Permanent Registration Number on the website – link is available here

  1. Fresh – Provisional Registration for graduates from Delhi

  4. Re-registration – For candidates already registered in other state councils

  4. Duplicate Certificate

Candidates must upload original documents and complete online payment and save the acknowledgement of payment to request an appointment to physically verify the originals within 30 days of application. Appointment is a must and applicants should email their name, mobile no and case ID at dmcdocver@gmail.com. Date and timing will be sent to the candidates through email and candidates must adhere to the timing.

Continuous Medical Education (CME)

Medical Doctors and institutions can offer CME programmes after approval from the DMC. DMC in collaboration with a few technology platforms is now offering online CME classes and details of which are available here.
